Detonate is much better on larger Dino’s on things similar to Kent size it’s better to let them keep bleeding

I’ve felt the bleed increase of bloodlust takes advantage of the bleed subspecies and the extra bleed you get from puncture. Bleeding something out is a playstyle, but very survivable. Not much wants to chase you when you’re running away, especially taking almost a minute of bleed when you have a few spikes in em. Very single target though, but also effective for smaller dinos like raptors.

The bonus you get from fresh blood only makes up for 2 stacks of puncture, but bloodlust makes each stack of puncture roughly 25% more effective

also if they keep running then bleed will last longer so it's a bit of a deterrent (it's not as stark as venom but there's still a difference)

Both are decent, I’d say if you are the jump sub stay using lone hunter but if you are ground damage sub use land runner

next time you fight, try landing some bleed on me and bait me into sprinting after you

I was going to simply retreat into the water and only trade with heavy bite though if you did that, so you would have lost that trade

so you could have potentially ran away, but not fighting back right away sorta sealed your fate

Kinda, you're made of wet cardboard so a lot of things can kill you very easily.

Even Adol Apexes could easily kill you with a few hits.

So...don't get hit I suppose and you could probably kill things bigger than you. You heal quicker than a lot of other dinos too so if you're a patient hunter you could also probably kill things larger than you.

Meg heal cycling is no joke, it's a lot harder to do without water nearby though. Meg has good turn so you can beat bigger dinos if the players are bad but you have to really expertly know how to use meg and be slippery with him.

Basically, he has a high skill ceiling.

Growing has not been the challenge for me. Surviving 1 v 1 combat has not been an issue for me. It is a mix-packed group ganging up on you that is the routine culprit. It's unfortunate. I had the idea of debuffs for players that hang around other players for too long (like severe slowing of speed), but it was pointed out that this could still be exploited and favor mixed-packs. Alderon doesn't have the resources to hire admins to handle reporting tickets, so the the only solution I now can think of is for 1 v 1 or perma-death servers to transition to community servers, where moderators/tickets can be active/looked at.

There's really a huge difference between carni- and herbi players. With the exception of one styra in a mixpack, ever herbi I meet was super chill towards other herbi players. Carnivores? It's always a bloody battle royale with them. Just an observation.

A great escape strategy for Deinon is trying to double jump into a tree. That's why I always choose the +25% jump height subspecies on officials.

if it was running kick barrage, you can also get on a small rock that doesnt have much room to walk, if they try to jump up they cant attack because they need acceleration to use it

I started on PS and eventually tried it on PC but I felt like I couldn't handle the dino as well on PC. The full 360 directional movement with the analog sticks are so much better
