I found achillo to be loads of fun in this gamemode. It's large enough to be intimidating and a threat to many things, but small enough to be inconspicuous and sneaky. Sure, the mob-boss playstyle is dead here, but it's not really needed. Definitely will be growing another.

I actually quested as normal when growing eo on perma. Once I hit adolescent I could face tank a hatz and win so I'd say just be careful and invest in sharpen horns first thing. And maybe avoid the classic hotspots until you feel comfortable in your size
