Kd does matter. Maybe not public kd because people just farm bots in pubs and get a really high kd. But ranked kd does indeed matter. If you have a .1 kd then that's good. You win more fights than you lose. If you have a .2 ranked kd. Then you're probably above the average in terms of skill. Anything higher than .2 you're a god

that's true, my main account has a 1.38 kd as i only use what i like, kn44, spr and by15 while my mini, which i try on bc i just hit legy and go back to my main has a 2.37kd using only the sks, asval, locus and mow. the idea that i go up a whole number in kd bc of how hard i try and what guns should mean something. 9x legy 18 if you cound the times i've done it on my minis

that's a shallow analysis, your kd is both dependant on you and your team, if your team goes 3/4 that means every 4th gunfight you have you will face 2 opponents bc your teammate didn't trade. basicly the worse your team does the worse you do. now that doesn't even facor in the weapons you use, or your perks (if you run ghost and persistence your kd will be higher in a passive playstyle than if you run lightweight and quick fix) finally modes that snow ball damage your kd and boost it depend on who has control

while the higher your kd is does mean your prolly better that correlation is clear, someone who plays super passive in snd can have an easy 2.0k while an equily skilled player who plays obj will have a 1.3
