Godray is basically rays of light you can see "piercing" through smoke or in between tree branches maybe.

Like in real life how gas is denser than light, so areas with dense gas can block the light from shining through. However, in a cloud of smoke, the density is pretty inconsistent. Meaning that some areas of the smoke cloud are denser whereas some are not, which allows rays of light to shine through. That's Godray from what I know.

The explosive rounds have a huge delay before exploding like the explosive crossbow bolts in MW2019 too. This means that you have a max of like 3-4 seconds to run away before it explodes. As for thermite rounds, it's probably gonna be just like the Kilo's; Gives your enemies extra time to kill uou after you've already shot them.
