Honestly theres not really many guns that are truly "bad", you just need to find what suits your play style. If you need inspiration theres a guy called Kith on youtube who breaks things down for all the weapons.

This might or might not he helpful, but if you playing hard point or domination, and you have a bunch of horrible random teammates who dont know how to play objective, try search and destroy. It much easier to carry there and if you pop a few at start of rounds the team probably gets the rest.

Its perfectly doable solo as well, but friends do help.
