Honestly that is an interesting question that people barely look at, I know some really strong players using gradual while ads because it gives them that tiny window to adjust to their targets without over flicking in mid range it keeps them stay calm for me i use instant because no point for me in waiting if i have my hip fire cross hair aimed directly at you and i feel like instant is a lot better because you only need to focus on 2 settings as a sniper your Camera sensitivity for example 91 and then your scope ads sensitivity which is for example 101 and i feel like after is the same thing but it's a bit slower because one is literally called instant
