Put fast throw on and figure out the timing. Theres a pattern to it. I prefer sai for melee now. You can see my thumbs on this one. Ive got a pretty unconventional hud but i learned to throw by slide jump and hit at the top of the jump. Theres a delay from press theow to throw of about .7 seconds so you can actually do something like dodge or rotate or slide after you hit the button. Heres my hud i just auto sprint hope it helps

And ignore the guide. Treat it like youre throwing a football much easier than usung the guide
