Exanple:sometimes you play passive if for example on hardpoint rest of your teammates are rushing so you have to play anchor and thats where passive guns should be used

And the depending on the map and what kind of angles and lanes it has you should pick what passive gun has best range for that map(if a gun has a lot of short but then a lot of long lanes a versatile gun like kn might be better, but if its all mid range lanes a mid range gun like em2 will be better)

Then it depends do you prefer fast fire rate or slow fire rate which just depends on are you better at flicking or tracking

Because A) these weapons take very few shots (1-2) to kill so stats being better or worse directly impacts the feel
B) you may notice the feel discussion with snipers usually only comes down between snipers with close stats like locus and dlq
The feel of a sniper is directly impacted by its sound and kick for me personally
