Because the fire rate of the bp50 is too fast, you aim at someone and fire. If a few hit but most miss, you have to reload before you know it. AK117 had a slow(er) fire rate where if you missed a few you could stop firing before the mag is emptied and still be able to do damage with the leftover rounds in the mag.

In other words, using the BP50 is mostly reloading the mag
