I think the biggest mistake and probably one of the reasons bots exist is because there's simply too many modes to choose from, and also a hell ton of maps it's not always a high chance that your enemies will be real players

As long as you don't miss shots often, the sensitivity would suit you. I guess you just need to use it often.
The best place to start is 1v1 with smaller maps. SnD is also good if you want to challenge yourself more.
I don't normally advise this but there are pretty decent guidelines on YT if you want to learn angles, map senses, etc.

Honestly depends. Generally you want to be adaptable but it depends on your playstyle. If you play slower, passive, and prefer to go for point, I'd say rotation/sitting on point or going for spawns. If you're aggressive and actually consistently getting streaks in each match often, slayer or keeping people off point and getting streaks for future points.
