After several hours in the SIM and saving up some money ( I'm 16 and no job ) I have decided to finely get my first drone, I have a budget if probably 800 - 900 €, even though it's not recommend as a first I think I will get a 5 inch because I live in the mountains and have lots of space to fly, I'm thinking of getting Manta 5" SE Squashed X DJI O4 6S with GPS because there is a big sale, as well as a radio master pocket and DJI n3 goggles ( and everything else, battery's, etc...), so I would like to know your guy's opinions and recommendations.

With 3 batteries it comes out to 700 € ( 830$ USD )
The thing with the 5 inch as a first drone is:
- it is insanely dangerous
- youre gonna crash, no matter what drone you start eith. Better to do it with a small one than a big, heavy, expensive one
oh..
maybe I shouldn't use a 5 incher as my first then
oh well!
If you get a smaller drone, you'll be able to use the same goggles and radio as you would for a big drone (don't get an RTF kit) so it's also not that much of a loss. You'd basically be getting the tinywhoop drone, maybe extra batteries, and a 1S battery charger
I ended up ordering a 5 inch before i saw these replies, so wish me luck
I know I'm going to crash, i do have a big field with no obstacles so i will just have to take it slowly
Another reason why I got five inch it's because I want to fly in the mountains where I live and do some longer range stuff and I won't be able to do that with a tinywhoop or even a smaller drone, or definitely not as well, and I don't have enough money to be able to buy one and then buy the next once i know how to fly
This might have been an incredibly bad decision but i hope not
You'll probably be fine, just be careful. Definitely don't fly near people, and be prepared to have to go out and retrieve your drone wherever you fly (e.g. you probably won't want to fly too far without lots of practice, a loud beeper, and GPS)
You might be okay but if you realize youre not, you can still get a smaller drone
