i will probably never buy anythng but radiomater again. the protocol that the transmitter and receiver are runningis what determines the compatibility. the main radio protocol i see people in our hobby using is ELRS for drones and planes. some of the other protocols are TBS criossfire, DJI RC,immersionRC ghost, flysky, frsky. I would go with an ELRS radio and receiver. the pocket is certainly an affrdable use full transmitter but I like more options for control. I have the tx16S MKII runningh a radiomaster ranger to extend its range. any bnf or rtf drone these days will state what type of receiver it comes with if it comes with one.
