I bought the mark 4 frame from the hoarder sam 5 inch build, but I accidentally bought the one without the 3d printed parts for the action cam and etc. I have my own printer, so I was wondering if I could print my own parts to sub in, because I was really excited to get started soon and I don’t really want to wait another two weeks (i also haven’t found a way to buy just the 3d printed parts so i’d have to buy the full thing),
#accidentally bought frame without 3d printed parts, can I print my own?

sure, if you have 95A TPU
oh damn does pla not work 😭
Most 3d printed parts used in FPV rely on the flexibility of TPU to hold other things securely without complex mechanisms
is what worth a shot?
that's like the main thing that will not work
it needs to be flexible so that you can slide the camera in, and so that it doesn't fall apart in a crash
oh damn is there anything I can do then
get tpu
yeah i prob will soon
but for now could i get just the action cam mount off amazon and then 3d print the rest? or does it still have issues
no
they dont sell that on amazon really
just get the tpu
the only part you actually need 2d printed is the antenna mount
you can use pla but itll break after every crash
is there any way to buy just the 3d printed parts?
probably gonna get the tpu but just wondering
unless u cant print tpu cuz fumes i wouldn't even consider this
there are tons of stls online for ur frame
Yes but why would you
Shipping times won't be shorter than a tpu roll lol
oh alr ill prob just print it with tpu then
i don’t think i have this one i got the frame from aliexpress unless it’s the same
i’m pretty sure it’s not the geprc one unless it’s a clone or something
so unless these parts will fit on mine i’m kind of worried about stls
Tpu doesn't really release a lot of fumes, it only starts getting toxic at like 250°C i think
