Building a 2.5in 18650 drone and I'm getting this weird behavior from my ESCs. I'm not reaching the current limit and the issue happens regardless of input voltage, but it's more noticeable when flying at low voltages because the ESCs reach full throttle more quickly. Could this be a Dshot/firmware issue? I used this same prop/motor/battery combo on another quad with an air65 AIO with no problems.
#JHEMCU G474 12A AIO cutting out at full throttle

If you can't hear it, the motor cuts to about half throttle as soon as that channel reaches full throttle
More testing and it kinda seems like this "12a" esc thinks it's a 5a or something
Look at your voltage ⚡😁 seems a little low as you pump out the amps. How charged / old is this battery?
send a picture of all your esc-configurator settings
Its an 18650 Li ion cell but the behavior is exactly the same on LiPo
Will do when I get home from work tonight
Honestly I give up, im just gonna throw another 5in1 on it. I'm assuming I got a bad FC
What kind of cell are you using? Most will start acting like this between 2.5v and 3v. Especially when you try and pull 25A out of them at low voltage.
Molicell P30B
But i tried it with a full lipo (3.7v at full load) and it still does it
Reflashed all of the ESCs too
So the voltage drops to 3.7v at full throttle on a lipo? This is reffered to as voltage sag. What kv motors are you using? What's your pid frequency set to? And what is your p-gain set to?
🤷 i already replaced the aio lol
Hmmm, I'd go for an X12 or something next build like this.
