I updated my DJI Goggles V2 to the latest firmware thinking it would allow me to pair with the O3 Air Unit, but it turns out it doesn’t. Now I can’t downgrade through DJI Assistant, and I’m worried I may have bricked my goggles. I’ve heard about using something called “Butter” to downgrade, but I also read that you need to do an extra step afterward to get them working with the O3 again. Could someone please share a tutorial or guide me through the process? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How is this possible
GV2s don’t work with anything further than O3
They can’t work with O4 units
Unless you mean Goggles 2
Then yea V2s don’t work with O4s
V2s work up to the O3 so I doubt the firmware is not for it
I had them and updated to the last firmware (was last year so I doubt they updated them again) and I used them with O3 just fine
The HUD looks the same, and in the Devices menu there’s no option for the O3 or anything else.
ok
Idk maybe this firmware is bugged
And you said you can’t revert, something you should be able to do
Cause dji consumer series 2 gives you all of them available to download and flash, I had to revert my integras cause the latest firmware at the time didn’t work with O3 either
I'm using fpv series
Oh well
Same firmware I had
Cause 2022, I had them in 2023/2024 I don’t remember exactly
But it was after 2022 and I had last version available
And you did refresh it already right?
no I havent
Well try that rq see if it solves
It’s weird tho
Wait one sec, is this the first time you’re pairing them with O3?
I think you got G1s tbh
goggles 1??
ik idk whats wrong
That sounds like you have GV1s
What does it say on device info
Or is there any sticker on the goggles that say they are V2s
Bc I’m pretty sure V1s don’t work with O3
Yea they are not compatible
