#First fpv drone combination

i dont like the goggles n3 very much, they were very uncomfortable when i tried them, the display is only 60hz and the optics arent all that clear and have quite a bit of distortion. the 04 lite is also very fragile and the camera has quite a low fov. other than the 04's own issues the meteor is quite strong
but is it fine for beginners?
i saw that u can use some sheets that the camera is more stable, and switch the proppelers
Just get an air 65/75 eachine ev 800 d radiomaster Pocket
See if u like the hobbie
BTW the o4 in the meteor is fragile
2 broke while a friend flew
was already sure that i get the analog version, just 2 days ago i thought it would be better to get the digital version, because sooner or later i need digital goggles
I wouldnt recomend digital as beginner as it can be fragile and expensive
its just because the signal isnt that good, can u recommend any antennas for the meteor 75 pro or the doggles?(eachine ev 800d)
So I just bought a Meteor 65 pro with O4.
Durability
I have crashed it a ton and so far I have had no issues besides some propellors pop off. Now maybe Im lucky but so far so good.
O4 Digital capability
So I realized that the O4 unit saves all the footage to the unit itself if I want and its super high quality. The problem is that the lite unit only comes with 30 minutes of 4k footage of storage and you can not just put a new sd card in like the O4 pro. While not a super big problem it still is annoying and if I had known this when I bought it I probably would have just went analog and got a headset with DVR because it would be alot cheaper. There is a DVR in the DJI Goggles N3 but sometimes the receiver will cut out and that just looks bad on the footage plus all the recordings on the headset you can do will have all your telemetry data overlay too so it doesn't make for good footage if you didn't want all that data on the screen.
I also don't like being married to only DJI receivers now since I bought the headset from them. Especially with all the issues going on to shipping to the US.
With all that said Im already itching for a bigger and newer drone. The O4 lite just doesnt get as good as footage as the O4 pro so It leaves me wanting for me
So I would have much rather just got the analog version and then upgraded to digital later with a bigger drone
okay thanks👌🏼
It doesnt only save footage on the unit
U can Switch it in the goggles
Make sure to have a good sd Card, it sometimes cuts out bc the sd Card is to Slow
Yes but what’s saved in the goggles has all your telemetry and data over the footage for the N3s.
So I opted to not record on my headset
The stutters were the headset losing connection to the drone so they were like ones I could actually see but it’s recording the screen of your headset so it records exactly what you see
