Ok so im prettyy dumb when it comes to this stuff. But i wanna connect this drone cam to my redmi

📱 What You’ll Need

  1. RunCam Night Eagle 3 (analog camera).
  2. EasyCAP USB Capture Dongle (~$10, Amazon link).
  3. RCA to 3.5mm AV cable (if not included with EasyCAP).
  4. USB OTG Cable (~$2, for Redmi connection).
  5. 5W+ IR Illuminator (for night vision, e.g., Bestar BIC20).
  6. Power Source (for camera: 5V USB power bank or drone battery).

🔌 Step-by-Step Setup

1. Connect the Camera to EasyCAP

  • RunCamRCA cable (yellow plug)EasyCAP dongle (yellow input).
  • Power the RunCam:
    • Use a 5V USB power bank (via RunCam’s micro-USB port).
    • Or connect to a 7-36V LiPo battery (if using in a drone).

2. Plug EasyCAP into Redmi

  • EasyCAPUSB OTG cableRedmi phone.
  • Enable OTG mode on Redmi:
    • Go to Settings > Additional Settings > OTG → Toggle ON.

3. View the Feed

  • Install USB Camera Pro (Play Store link).
  • Open the app → Select UVC source → Choose EasyCAP.
  • Adjust settings:
    • Disable "auto-exposure" (reduce lag).
    • Set resolution to 720x576 (PAL) for best compatibility.

Since it is AI i kind of have doubts about this, so any insight into wether what was mentioned here would actually broadcast the live feed of the night eagle cam into my redmi’s screen would be really appreciated. And if this doesn’t work. How may i fix it??

Why do you want to do this? What's the goal?
