#Help me with my work please

I would like a FVP drone
what do you need it to do? do you have a size in mind?
I don't have any size in mind, I would like the drone to take good shots or see things that I couldn't.
do you mind having to carry an action cam or do you want it to have onboard recording?
I don't care, I want it to be economical and I like its function.
Have you researched FPV drones and/or kits in the past, or is this your first thought of it?
sorry to interrupt your conversation
analog with a cheap action cam is probably the most economical option. but that also means you need a larger quad in order to carry it which isn the best option for a first quad.
It's the first time I chose it for my work because I found it interesting.
@harsh orbit I have a friend who has a 3D printer. Could I ask him to print it for me or is it not advisable?
the drone chassis
I saw the material and it seemed good to me.
you cant 3d print the frame
camera and antenna mounts sure
but plastic just isnt stiff enough
exactly
With an FPV drone, you are probably going to crash it a bit so stuff like arms are going to break.
The plastic used is hard, but if I don't print it, what should I do? Buy a ready-made one?
And which frame would you recommend?
r u flying Freestyle or Racing?
no 3d printed plastic can compete with carbon fibre
it depends on what size you want to start with. I would recommend the largest quad you get be a 3.5"
It would be my first drone, I haven't used one yet, it would be to test it, freestyle.
I'd personnally reccomend an X-frame for freestyle, maybe a 3.5" like @harsh orbit said
I will try to have it made of carbon fiber, size 3.5 if you think it is good for a beginner like me.
do you have to make the frame yourself?
is that one of the requirements?
No, I don't have any requirements, it's just that they told me I could do it myself. If the work is free and from a practical point of view I chose this, I can do whatever I want.
having to design a frame while also trying to do your first build isnt a great idea
I think getting a proper built frame first would be a good idea because then you know what to expect when making a drone frame. Its not gonna be a fun time trying to design something from scratch with absolutely no idea what you're doing.
even still stuff like that takes experience
I wasn't going to design it myself, I was going to use a design already made to print, but if it's better to buy one, I bought it.
?
even better buy a prebuilt bind and fly then you can see how they work and go from there
Yes, I think I'll take one already armed, since it's my first time.
I'm sorry, but what is BNF? I'm from Spain, and there are things I have trouble understanding.
how much money do you have to spend?
bind and fly, you choose what receiver you wanna use and everything's plug and play
for a 3.5" setup you are probably going to be spending atleast 400 euro
A ok thanks i will try it
take a look here for the recommended beginner ground gear
and pair that up with a bnf or build of your choice
I don't have that much budget 😔, I'll look for cheaper things since it will be the first one and maybe it won't turn out perfect.
Okay, I'll go see.
can go down to 300 for a tiny whoop but you cant really spend less than that without ending up with a bunch of garbage
I know, but I don't have any. I'm a student, I have no income and I don't have much saved, but I'll try to reach 300.
fpv is a HUGE money pit
Do you know of any other drone features that could be useful and more economical?
not sure what you mean. im heading off to bed anyway
gn
Okay, thanks for the help
Nlg you want it to take good shots and for 300 total for everything like the whole drone build the goggles the battery and the charger for battery and all of the other little thinks that add up your drone you have to increase the budget to around $400-500
Also if you go analog and want a action cam your gona have to spend money for that too
I know, I'm going to try to save money
