Odds are it sat in the box, got a firmware update when it was turned on again, and the way props are supposed to be on was changed

There might be a setting, but I’d just switch them around

Well it was working fine for 5 months, then it sat in storage for a month, then it didn’t work, the propellers have never been removed

If I take off all of the protective stuff I have on it and try to go up immediately as I press take off then it goes backwards

I can almost guarantee props are on wrong

Just try swapping them around, it’s really not that much effort
