You do not configure it from there. That tab is for Analog and HDZero VTXs

#

The configuration of the DJI O3 air unit is done through the menu in the goggles once it's bound and connected

#

And binding the o3 to the goggles is pretty straight forward, look it up online, if you can't figure it out, let me know

Is this a prebuilt quad?

#

That tab will not be available for DJI air units, you simply don't need it

#

However, it is important that the O3 can communicate using UART.
BUT if it is a prebuilt (assuming you haven't reflashed firmware), the ports should be already configured

It was a prebuilt but the ports tab got reset. I updated the firmware since I haven’t updated my drone in over a year and the connection was already lost and not binding. So I flashed new firmware and need to redo my UART

rancid cedar
#

Yeah you shouldn't update the firmware

#

Even if it has been years, if the drone is flying fine, no need to update anything, it resets everything

#

Find the CLI dump for your model of quad and version of betaflight, apply that

@tepid spade Which quad is it?

#

I may find the CLI dump for it

tepid spade

I got it back

#

Still won’t bind but I recovered from backup

Which RC Link do you use, the DJI remote, ELRS or Crossfire?

tepid spade
#

ELRS with radiomaster boxer running a RM bandit micro

#

Used to bind perfect and now I’m having trouble since it’s been sitting.

rancid cedar
#

Alright, which method did you use to bind it?

tepid spade
#

My controllr is runing 3.3.2 and drone is on 4.5.1

rancid cedar
#

You should bind it using the binding phrase, by setting it on both the controller and the drone's receiver

#

Here's a video I made about how to do that:

Got your new ExpressLRS Drone and Controller, and you're struggling to bind them? In this video I'll show you a simple way to do so, without any software, simply using your computer/phone and a web browser!

__ Pages used in this video __
ExpressLRS Configuration page: 10.0.0.1 (only available when connected to RX/TX)
Betaflight: https://app.bet...

Try it and let me know if it works :)

#

Additionally, make sure that "Model Match" is off on both your radio (in the ExpressLRS Lua Script) and the Receiver (should be in the model tab of the Web interface)

#

What it's actually doing is updating the UID bytes below

tepid spade

rancid cedar
#

Show me a screenshot

tepid spade
#

then i click save and binding phrase dissperars like you said but it doesnt actually chnage in the ()

rancid cedar
#

Wait

#

Is your drone 900Mhz?

#

Because the TX module you have is 900Mhz

#

it will only work with 900Mhz receivers

#

Most drones are actually 2.4Ghz

tepid spade
#

I had my bandit pluggewd in. One drone is 900 and my one im trying to bind is 2.4

#

so i switched my controller to 2.4 and trying to binf still

tepid spade
#

just weird bc no matter what my drones wifi wont show up but its rapisly flashing
