And then you plug and deplug your drone really fast like 3-4 times and this should put your Rx in bind mode

0:00 - The definitive guide to getting started with ...
Long video but this is the best tutorial to know everything
Just use the docs I sent
Pretty old
Still pretty relevant
Just use the official docs
no, it's outdated
and it will confuse people
Oh ok well it got me started
a lot of it is fine, but a few of the very important parts have changed
it's okay to watch it to get an idea, but don't follow it down to the word
please take the module bay cover off and take a photo of the back of the controller
closer to this please
can juuuuust about make out CC2500 written on that sticker
that's not an ELRS version of the Pocket
it will not work with any ELRS devices
“Wow I wonder why this version is magically cheaper, I guess I’m just lucky”
if you ordered the ELRS version and got the CC2500, that's an easy refund/replacement
if you got the CC2500 version... you can at least try
Try what
there's a sticker inside with the version written on it - yours says CC2500, that's not ELRS
to get a refund/replacement to get the ELRS version
It’s designed for people who want to use an external module, so it has no internal transmitting hardware
what is it with you today?
no
wtf
CC2500 is a transmitter module
I swear to god I can find a message saying that
I’m confused
it's just not useful for anything we use nowadays
What??
Ok guys so uh can I still use it or nah
Holy shit
CC2500 is an RF chip used in some older 2.4GHz systems
not as is
Will this one work?
yes
ok
Ig today is just not my day
This is one of the multiprotocol ones that came with most transmitters before ELRS was a thing, right? Like it was a subset of the 4in1 TX modules or something like that?
Yes. The 4in1 multiprotocol project/hardware had 4 of the common chips used for 2.4GHz RC control. Mostly for legacy systems from FlySky, Futaba, FrSky, and some toys
