Problem with new drone

The first time I powered on my drone, with a smoke stopper, it worked but after I tried to plug it without the smoke stopper and it didn't make the second sound and the FC didn't light up so what should I do?

does the fc connect to betaflight? and its possible the fc shorted on one of the stack screws

you might have been shorting something on the bottom of the fc with the stack screws stopping it from booting

or maybe a loose connection

is the wire between the esc and fc plugged in all the way?
