I am building a 5 inch freestyle drone with the Hdzero freestyle V2 vtx and I have gotten to the point where the vtx is connected to everything and I have tried to connect to it with my googles but it doesn't find it, I have, both the Googles and the vtx have been updated to the newest firmware, I have also tried to switch the TX and rx wires around on the fc to see if that was the problem but still nothing. Another note is that I have stopped being able to find my tinywoop with my googles and I thought it was because of the tiny whoop but now I think it might be the Goggles

Are you making sure to set your VTX and goggles to the same channel instead of relying on scan? Does your VTX have an antenna on it? Is your VTX possibly going to pit mode? Is your VTX getting enough voltage?

I would try these first

#

I highly doubt your goggles are the problem

#

also this might sound strange, but if none of my solutions worked, try unscrewing the VTX and seeing if you get a signal then

#

also since you said you switched the RX and TX wires around, make sure that TX on the FC connects to RX on the VTX, and that RX on the FC connects to TX on the VTX. RX means receive and TX means transmit, so a transmit goes into a receive, for example if you connect 2 RX pads together, they will both be waiting to receive a signal and get nothing

Reading through your message again, you said your tinywhoops VTX stopped connecting after you updated the goggle fw, so the versions are likely just mismatched, updating your tinywhoops VTX should resolve this problem
