You can usually just flash new firmware to it, that will erase any previous configuration and put it into the state that it was from the factory

you will lose all of your previous config tho

you can't open a port to Virtual Mode

#

if the FC doesn't appear in the ports selection, you need to correct the drivers if you haven't already
