im not this skilled but @stoic lichen is
I think if Emilia tries to help this guy again she’s gonna explode
oh I thought he was new?
o this is the guy who thinks trump and kamala are both slaves owned by the bank
Maybe?
This guy didn’t send a photo after so long of asking
Just kept ignoring the people actually trying to help
Made it super hard
it was a joke lmao
bro i wasnt ignoring
i didnt have my phone

i got it to bind either way
and what u guys were telling me to do was prove that its frsky dx 8 or something
and telling me to connect it to betaflight config
when it only works with betafpv config
and then also just telling me to sell it
Ok so i contacted betafpv
n they said its not compatible with other transmitters
holy shit bro
thats dumb as fuck
why would they even advertise it as frsky then
if its just proprietary bs
like the other transmitter connects but i cant even use it cause theres no way to configure it
that right there proves that all rtf kits are pieces of shit
so, FrSky is really confusing and proprietary, but I don't think they have their own proprietary protocol
I'm hoping someone else with experience will come in here and answer your questions, but I could probably kinda figure it out maybe?
first thing is I want to know the exact model of the flight controller in the drone, and figure out exactly what protocol it must be using
and to do that I'd look for either a very specific model number on the FC itself, or plug the drone into betafpv and if there's a terminal interface, throw some commands at it to get it to spit out all its info
if betafpv doesn't have a terminal, then I vaguely remember that you might be able to connect it to betaflight and it'll be able to give you a terminal only?
Yea its not a proprietary protocol
I was able to bind to it
But wasnt able to configure it at all
Its using dx8
U can see in the picture
Wont connect to betaflight
I actually contacted betafpv themselves
And they said its not compatible
They could be wrong idk
But theres no way i could find to configure it
evidently they may have been wrong in the first place lol
when you move the transmitter's sticks, do you see movement in the channels in the configurator?
Because it was able to bind
Its all in the pics and videos i posted
oh sorry I missed those
looking through them now... there isn't a hint of possibility to change the switches lol
this isn't normally the way to do it, but I think you might be able to just set up the switches in the radio
that's kinda how it is with radiomaster things
basically, see if you can get any of those AUX channels to move
the drone might use, say, AUX3 for arming, but if your transmitter doesn't have a switch assigned to aux3, then you won't be able to arm
and with my wild guess... I would assign every single switch to an aux and start flipping switches. see if you can identify a pattern
if you end up with a channel/aux/switch combo that results in arming, then voilla
and you can then reassign that switch/aux, through the transmitter, to whichever switch you want to use for arming
(this is mostly guesswork but hopefully you can get that to work out)
Yeag
I also need to switch the throttle n stuff
Cause its flipped around
Throttle and yaw is on the right stick
While the rest is on the left
Need to switch it around
oof you might be able to reassign those in the radio
this might help
You can see more tips on OpenTX here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPi4v-flw1c&list=PLYsWjANuAm4o0zcX7RwmJxtflFGyTKwdY
You can see more R/C related videos on the channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/Painless360
Looking for a video on a specific topic? All of my videos are arranged into easy to use playlists and have lots of text tags on t...
this, from the video, is generally what you want to do
adjust inputs/mixer things so that the gimbals and switches available are mapped to the receiver in the right way
like i said though, not 100% sure this will work with the cetus
so you might have better luck just assigning every switch to at least one aux and see if you can get the arming switch to be activatd
then reverse engineer from there, and figure out which aux, and which channel, and which switch you need to set up
Yeah
Ill try it this weekend
