Here’s a deer mushroom I found d last year. It was beautiful, usually I pick them to see and feel them but this one was too beautiful to disturb

And here’s a deadman’s foot mushroom I found in my lawn while mowing. It always sprouts once a year at the start of fall. It’s beautiful but the first time I saw it I thought Milo took a giant shit that was stuck to the grass

I love their color

I think people put them in mushroom supplements too

I've never eaten any mushroom other than champignons and those are disgusting

so I have hopes there's a mushroom out there for me

I’ve wanted to try it for so long, you can’t buy it anywhere that I’ve seen. You can only find it wild

I'm sure there's one that looks exactly like it but kills you instead too

I’ve tried a bunch. I think creminis have the most mild flavor

lol, from what I’ve read they are one of the easier mushrooms to positively ID. I am a budding mycology nerd and I failed to recognize it when it was in front of me :(

Not many mushrooms grow in the woods behind my house. It’s usually too dry here

nowadays there's too many people and people will just pluck and grab every mushroom instead of leaving them there

I don’t know of any mushrooms you can’t touch. Just don’t ingest them and wash your hands before you put your fingers in your mouth. I think…
