I am 14 years old and live in EU. Sadly, I can't fly drons over 250g. Is it worth it to buy a dron under 250g for two years ?

What kind of a drone are you talking about?

sage bobcat
#

Possible I can use this drone later to fly close to people

to fly close to people
the first thing you want to avoid doing with drones is flying them close to people

#

the smaller the drone the less of an issue it is, but regardless of the size they need to be informed

#

Anyway

#

you can have a lot of fun sub-250g

#

Whoops, Toothpicks, ultralights..

#

lighter drones are a bit harder to break as well

#

Crux35 is a pretty common recommendation for sub-250g

#

Or, there's a huge amount of whoops available if you want to fly indoors or partially indoors

#

or just in smaller areas

#

Just a common recommendation:
Pick an ELRS radio (and drone)
@sage bobcat

#

RadioMaster has a lot to pick from, and there are other manufacturers who make them too

#

RadioMaster Pocket ELRS is a very common beginner FPV radio

#

It doesn't actually sacrifice any real features compared to expensive radios

#

ELRS?

#

If yes then that's great.

sage bobcat
#

how can I check it ?

flat vault
#

... you know what you bought...

#

Alternatively, RM usually puts a little sticker somewhere on the radio

#

could be in a module bay

#

It could be:
CC2500
4in1
ELRS

#

these 3 variants exist in RM radios

sage bobcat

#

-_-

#

the sticker could also be in a battery bay if not elsewhere..

sage bobcat
#

cc2500

flat vault
#

welp

#

well, sounds like you'll be buying an ELRS module as well

#

fortunately they're not very expensive

#

CC2500 is useful for old frsky stuff or obsolete whoops... not much else

ayy

#

I should've realised from your nickname

#

if this was 10 years ago I could've responded in perfect polish, but yeah, not anymore, drone knowledge replaced most of that

I won’t advise you to do anything illegal, in fact, ignore this, but in my experience the over 250 grams if you have a license or not is like never checked/enforced here in the netherlands

#

Please don’t fly like this though

#

But just saying

# bleak cave easily?

How, what ancient sorcery is needed to have a micro (specifically micros, my miniquads are tough enought) that won't break, I broke both my 2" 2s's and 65mm's aio in like a weeks

#

Well also I flew like 50-60 packs a day for a weeks and crashed at least once per flight
