I am 14 years old and live in EU. Sadly, I can't fly drons over 250g. Is it worth it to buy a dron under 250g for two years ?

the first thing you want to avoid doing with drones is flying them close to people

the smaller the drone the less of an issue it is, but regardless of the size they need to be informed

Anyway

you can have a lot of fun sub-250g

Whoops, Toothpicks, ultralights..

lighter drones are a bit harder to break as well

Crux35 is a pretty common recommendation for sub-250g

Or, there's a huge amount of whoops available if you want to fly indoors or partially indoors

or just in smaller areas

Pick an ELRS radio (and drone)

RadioMaster has a lot to pick from, and there are other manufacturers who make them too

RadioMaster Pocket ELRS is a very common beginner FPV radio

It doesn't actually sacrifice any real features compared to expensive radios

I won’t advise you to do anything illegal, in fact, ignore this, but in my experience the over 250 grams if you have a license or not is like never checked/enforced here in the netherlands

If you want to fly close to people that's definitely gonna be a cinewhoop then.
Something like the Cinelog from GepRC, or even possibly a tinywhoop like the Flylens85
