#Help with the bind

you need to have Crossfire Transmitter module, and LUA script on the radio, for it to work with crossfire
Ok thx
what module have you got in the radio, and what receiver is in the drone (specifically, not just a general type)? @fathom seal
send pics if you don't know
I don’t think he’s got a module on the radio
what
receiving is a taranis
sry but im new
in this area
I was able to bind the drone with the remote control. But it turns out that the throttle etc. are 100% all the time. Even on betaflight it turns out accelerated
Taranis is a brand of radio transmitters from frsky
R9 Mini-OTA
R9 Mini is an R9 receiver, not a Crossfire receiver.
anyway he connected with the drone
That's not possible if it's an R9 receiver.
but now i have this problem
I don't know what to tell you. I am new to this area. I bought the drone used and it also gave me this module
He told me that it's okay
Nothing in this video is relevant to binding or radio to receiver communication.
If your drone has an R9 receiver, but you have a Crossfire transmitter, then it can't work together.
I asked you for a photo of the receiver so I could verify what it is.
Also, just because you bought some stuff together doesn't mean that it can work together.
Sure now I'll send you the picture. What I tell you that the connection with the drone is there is that the radio remote control gives random output
It is difficult to show
...
help me solve the fact that the remote control gives 100% on each stick
Please show this happening
Is that in Betaflight Configurator? Or on your radio's channel output monitor?
my radio channel output monitor
Here you can see that all outputs are accelerated
They aren't accelerated, they're stuck at 100% output. There is no movement at all when you move the sticks.
exactly
If you can't communicate the issue accurately, we're gonna have a hard time
Go through the process of calibrating the sticks on your radio
It is difficult for a neophyte to explain. Moving the sticks always results in 100% outputs
Your hardware settings are empty, the radio configuration most likely got corrupted.
ya i think. Any idea to resolve?
I tried to reset it to factory settings but I can't 😭
Might as well just reflash it at this point, I would think that would load at least some of the default stuff
@fathom seal what firmware is the radio running?
Do you have a SD card in the radio?
yep
Would you mind if the radio UI changed a bit?
opentx is a dead project.
It's been superceded by EdgeTX
but they tweaked the UI a couple versions ago so it will look a little bit different
its not a problem, if the remote control works for me
Do you have anything you want to keep on the radio? Any models you want to back up?
Do you have a PC with Chrome on it?
sure
Do I have to go into bootloader mode?
ok
then, in edgetx buddy, press Flash via USB
and go through the process
if it asks you to pick a device, look for STM32 BOOTLOADER or TX16S or RadioMAster
did you plug the USB into your PC?
yes
the data usb, not the charging USB?
Curious
?
These radios go into USB Flashing mode if you plug them in while powered OFF
typically at least 😅
hasn't failed me yet...
are you using a C-C or C-A cable?
C-A
not that problem either ._.
do yo u hear the device plugged in sound when you plug it in?
lol
lol yeah your radio is very confused and the firmware is probably borked
Let's just ditch the many years old opentx xD
confused like me;)
You can try to run this on your PC to fix the STM32 drivers, but that's usually not needed for radios nowadays
huh, it's doing something
just a quick check - your drone's USB was NOT connected, right?
ignore that, just close and relaunch chrome
Is not connected
ok
relaunch chrome, go to edgetx buddy agian and retry
Progress? 🙂
finished
ok, unplug USB and power it up
