After 4 months of wrestling with customer support, I finally got a new crux35 ELRS

I got the radiomaster pocket and drone both ELRS. What's the best way to bind it? Haven't bound an elrs drone before besides my old Crux but that was horrible

Do you know if the onboard receiver is connected over SPI or UART?

Power it on for 60s and a wifi access point called ExpressLRS RX should be available on your pc/laptop/phone

Connect to that access point with the password expresslrs, and navigate to http://10.0.0.1

Then get a screenshot of that page and send it here

yes, that is the important bit we needed to know

if you go to the ELRS lua script on the radio and enable the transmitter module wifi, you will be able to connect to it much the same as the receiver

Can I not do the standard bind option?

You might consider upgrading the firmware on the RX, it's quite old.

But power cycle the quad 3 times to put the RX into bind mode. Load the ELRS LUA script on the radio and press "bind".

you should be able to bind them without changing the firmware, just set both to the same bind phrase, it can be pretty much anything

My controls are swapped so my throttle is being controlled by my right stick
