#Old EMAX Tinyhawk Freestyle

I dont have any of those old batteries so if i were to run it - id probably use a 2S adapter for BT2.0 since I have a bunch of those rn but then when looking at the power conencter I noticed it's got a capacitor on those leads - is it safe for me to leave those caps on while i remove the old plug and add the BT 2.0 2S connector?
Just splice in the xt30/bt3.0/2 bt2.0 in series, there is no need to do any soldering on the board
Also, a tinyhawk is a lot of fun, so that's a good find you have here
Yea either splice in a BT3.0 or XT30 and use 2S, or do what I did and do a full 3S conversion. The stock motors fuckin' rip on 3S
What did you have to change ?
I pulled out the old AIO, and had to 3D print an adapter to put in a 25mm 2S-4S AIO
Ok
Ill just say I have the TH Freestyle 3 and its actually the worst drone I've ever flown. If its all you have its super fun but if you have literally anything else its just not. I flew it maybe 3-4 times and I kinda doubt it will ever see much more than that.
I miss my thf2 soooooooo much. Crossfire and a unify made it 🦾. Unfortunately I got lost trying to fly a mile out and back.
I had 4 tiny hawk 2. I know them fairly well.
You should put ELRS on it. The pads are on the bottom of the PCB and are just about accessible through the bottom frame.
Biggest issue with my 3 is that the props just wont stay on. Any crash, or even just flying too aggressively and the props fly right off. Kinda dangerous to fly around people or over obstacles because I never know when a prop will decide to yeet itself.
Im sure there is something I could do to keep them on, but the stock situation is not great.
if they don't have screws you can thread dental floss between the prop and shaft a which will keep them on
Hey everyone, have been reading here but i got distracted flying the Meteor75 Pro i impulse bought on amazon lol
If there isnt any loss in splicing the wirse, definitely doing that route
this is the Frsky version and I have a 4-in-1 (with elrs ext module) so I can get away without using ELRS i think but ill have to see if i failsafe at a bad distance then ill consdier it
The 75 pro is an absolutely awesome whoop. Try if it with 450mah batteries if you havnt already the 550s it comes with are a bit heavy IMO.
I will have to try the dental floss thing. I heard about that before but never gave it shot.
Also, little perk with the dental floss method, you can leave a tiny bit of extra floss at the top of the prop, remove the dental floss with pliers and you will be able to remove the prop really easily since it won't be stuck on the shaft like it usually is
I ordered some Lava 450 since I heard they were similar to the tatus
And they would arrive sooner than the tatu
