I fought a range issue for a full week with my first ELRS module. I was so proud of going to one watt, I bought the best antennas, I built the perfect antenna placement... My range slurped.....
The Module is RP-SMA. I'd bought a really nice SMA antenna. .. and didn't notice... and it flew fine until it didn't. It took me a week to catch on. 😆

The Ranger is pretty solidly built. In the short term, I would pick up another ELRS RX. Something like a HappyModel EP1, BetaFPV Nano, or BetaFPV SuperD depending on what your flying goals are. The Axisflying hardware is less common, but seems to have more than it's fair share of issues.

Have you solved the elrs issue? I had problems with elrs range too and it was happening only sometimes and because the antenna wire was damaged and had a loose contact , it got fixed by soldering where it broke

went through all the settings and such with V-22 after my random RX loss and their only conclusion was the receiver having problems

and the LQ just dropping in and out
I feel like that almost can't be anything other than the receiver

It says all the IMU features have been disabled
but they're VERY much working for me?
I've reflashed it to 3.3.1, maybe the firmware on the thing was completely broken.

dBm is sometimes 20 higher in the same exact spots
LQ still jumps all over the place but it's always above 92
I am so confused lol

And jumping lq above 90 is what I also experience with my receiver stuffed between aio and carbon.

I guess somehow the soldering on that was the most terrible thing ever, or it got yoinked off after the crash

It definitely could, but it wasn't why I lost RX in the crash
I remember from after it cut off that like usual the LQ dropped while the dBm was bouncing around
and only after the crash all the values went to default
really want to replace that receiver

I usually put the antennas on the arms.
... you can always add more spacers to the AIO...
