#Analog VTX Weird Video Distortion - TBS nano pro32

I'm having weird grainy issues that you can see in the two videos linked. Once is taken with a c02 camera, and the other a c03 camera as proof that it's nothing to do with the camera.

The issue is the noticeable lines along the edges and the feed just seems extra noisy in general. Anyone have any ideas? My relevant parts;

-FC: BetaFPV 1s 5A AIO w/Serial ELRS
-VTX: TBS nano pro32 w/foxeer lollipop antenna
-VRX: TBS Fusion plugged into HDZero goggles with my regular foxeer lollipop and triple feed patch antenna combo

#

my VTX tables are set to the standard for the TBS nano pro32 according to the json file provided on their website. Both videos should be at 400mw

I have no such issue with my HD vtx's and HDZero goggles, but unfortunately I have no other analog vtxs to test with

#

As for why I'm not using an HD vtx...I broke em x.x Replacement parts arrive tomorrow but I have flying plans today and need to get this analog system in as good of shape as I can

I unfortunately do not know the solution though

#

on my goggles I will try reseating the expansion module, if that doesnt work then reseating the VRX itself, and if neither of those work I will update my goggle firmware

#

I'll tell you how it goes

the picture on my eachine ev800d's is crystal clear compared to what I see in my HDZeros .-.;

#

I've created the following post on HDZeros discord about it

#

If I find a fix I'll let you know

#

Glad to know it's not just me

I have reseated both the VRX and Expansion module, issue persists

# trail plume Ill try a firmware update later

I believe I'm already on the latest firmware for the goggles. I just found out there's a whole software suite for updating and configuring the TBS Fusion module so I'll look into that next

I'mma take it on a "proper" flight rq to verify then I'll post about it

#

Yeah I fixed it

# trail plume I also use a TBS Fusion plugged into my HDZero goggles and get this exact same d...

Okay so if you take the fusion module out of its case and look at it you'll see this.

The button/direction stick thingy is right over a gap and as you push on it and use it you slowly push it down and the other side of the board where the pins are up.

Not sure if it's the fact that the pins weren't making proper contact or the fact that the heat foam thing between the two boards was losing contact and not properly wicking heat away but after reseating the pins properly the distortion went away

#

It's a kind of annoying design flaw

#

I may design and 3d print a proper seperator to put there

#

oh wow I never even noticed that

#

thanks for telling me about it

#

Honestly, your video seems fine, that's about the quality I have with analog most of the time

trail plume
#

that is not a normal analog thing

Oh

#

I didn't see them

That's kind of weird
