Yea I don’t hear a lot about 3” since the whole 3.5” thing became like a trend. But it’s a really good little thing and the repairs are fairly cheap

I can pretty much say the same, but I indeed hear a lot about 3.5" rather than 3".

3.5" kinda is the limit to where you can get a sub250. Obviously 4" and 5" sub250 is possible too but then you are just trying to get it under that weight rather than getting some bigger or more expensive components

You can pretty much use any 20x20 or 25x25 AIO or stack with any VTX any cam and any 1404 3800 KV motor

Different VTX, that one is slightly annoying. And maybe some better motors.

It’s just my preference, when I freestyle I like to rip around without gear fear. Having a heavy quad that can break (even if it performs amazingly) just isn’t my preference

Well, a cinewhoop has a stupid high disk loading so you need rather high kv, high blade count and big flat motors

Might want to experience with more props then, and maybe don't use bullnose props, since the tolerances aren't high enough to actually make them useful

For a bullnose prop to be useful you need the gap between the duct (not props guard) to be 5% of the height of the prop

Yes but surely if the motors are getting hot on tri blades they will explode on 4-6 blades

Maybe that’s it then, just can’t get enough ooomf of the prop so it’s getting hot.

The only other thing is the twitchy motor, the esc is fine the motor just twitches before spinning up and idk why

It's a matter that a bullnose requires a lot of torque (that's why cinewhoops use big motors for their size) so more power, so more heat
