#How to series charge

Series charging 1S cells basically presents them to your charger as an xS battery, where x is the number of 1S lipos you've attached. In this case, you've got 4 batteries, so set your charger for 4S. A 1C charge rate would be 0.45A
Yea it's correct, but it looks like your batteries are already charged lol
Anyway, your charge rate should be 0.45A, not 1.8A
Unless you mean to charge at 4C, which I would highly recommend against
now im confused lol
i get this tho
What can I help explain?
what do you mean by 4c?
The charge rate, or "C" rate, is how fast you're charging.
If you're charging at 1 times the capacity of the pack, that's 1C. So for a 450mAh pack, or 0.45Ah, charging at 1C means you're charging at 0.45A.
If you charge a 450mAh pack at 2C, you'd be charging at 2x 0.45A = 0.9A
i think i get it, but i dont think that ill be changing the settings that much?
bc i never have
Maybe not, but that's only true if you only ever have one type of lipo. It is still important to understand
For the best results, you shouldn't charge any lipo faster than 2C. Charging faster increases the wear on the cells, causing them to break down. The faster you charge, the faster that breakdown occurs. There are several videos out there, and I think Vitroid has an article on his website about lipos too
