the radio, the thing with the screen and sticks, is one component. It runs EdgeTX.
the radio's internal ELRS transmitter, is another separate component, it just lives inside of the radio. It runs ELRS.

now, your whoops mainboard is in a similar situation to your radio
it's actually multiple separate parts on one board.
One of those parts is the Flight controller, which runs Betaflight. Another part is the ELRS receiver, which runs its own ELRS firmware.
They share power, but otherwise run and act independently, and only talk to each other over a set of on-board traces.

Now. ELRS receivers have one function enabled by default - after 60 seconds of not being connected to a transmitter after powerup, they will start up a WiFi network, called ExpressLRS RX

Open Betaflight Configurator. Make sure that Auto-Connect is turned OFF.

Connect Betaflight Configurator to the FC.
Go to Receiver tab.
Make sure that TELEMETRY is turned OFF.
If you had to change it, press Save & Reboot.
Once the FC reboots, disconnect USB.

Hold the BOOT button (shown on the picture) on the FC while plugging in USB.
Then, in Betaflight Configurator (do not press connect!), Firmware flasher tab, press Exit DFU (that button is visible only in Firmware Flasher tab? idk)

Go to ExpressLRS Configurator, select BETAFPV AIO 2400 RX and BetaflightPassthrough.
Then, press Build and Flash

your FC is in bootloader mode

you put it there using the BOOT button

the BOOT button puts both the FC and ELRS Receiver into bootloader mode

you need to take the FC out of bootloader mode using the Exit DFU button

It's changed with switches, check out the Modes tab in Betaflight
