I'm leaving right now, but imma write some stuff:
In Betaflight Configurator:
- Make sure that in Ports tab, only Serial RX is ticked on only the UART that the receiver is soldered to. (RX1 and TX1 = UART1. RX1 is sometimes shortened to R1). If you made any changes, press Save & Reboot.
- Make sure that in Receiver tab, the receiver type/protocol is set to Serial / CRSF. If you made any changes, press Save & Reboot.
- In CLI tab, send this command:
get serialrxand make sure that serialrx_halfduplex and serialrx_inverted are both set to OFF (= OFF)
Wiring:
- Make sure that your RX and TX wires are not swapped.
- Make sure that your RX and TX wires are on the same UART.
- If the FC is an F4, avoid using the SBUS pad unless you know that it can work like a normal RX pad
- Some FC's require you to connect a solder bridge to set the receiver type (this is because FRSKY SBUS needs to be treated differently, CRSF is normal)
