I'm leaving right now, but imma write some stuff:
In Betaflight Configurator:

  1. Make sure that in Ports tab, only Serial RX is ticked on only the UART that the receiver is soldered to. (RX1 and TX1 = UART1. RX1 is sometimes shortened to R1). If you made any changes, press Save & Reboot.
  2. Make sure that in Receiver tab, the receiver type/protocol is set to Serial / CRSF. If you made any changes, press Save & Reboot.
  3. In CLI tab, send this command: get serialrx and make sure that serialrx_halfduplex and serialrx_inverted are both set to OFF (= OFF)

Wiring:

  1. Make sure that your RX and TX wires are not swapped.
  2. Make sure that your RX and TX wires are on the same UART.
  3. If the FC is an F4, avoid using the SBUS pad unless you know that it can work like a normal RX pad
  4. Some FC's require you to connect a solder bridge to set the receiver type (this is because FRSKY SBUS needs to be treated differently, CRSF is normal)

There is also some config available on the Tango / TBS Agent side

#

where you configure which pins of the receiver do what (CRSF TX, CRSF RX)

Thank you, I've tried all of these things, and I tried serial rx on both uart 1 and 2, the rx and tx wires are in the right place and on the same UART, the fc is not an f4, and the reciever protocol is set to serial but the flight controller still doesn't see the inputs

Nano Rx has a solid green light, tango doesn't have any telemetry

it should be CRSF

thank you, that seems to have worked, but now I get the 'badrx' error message
