I am getting the EMAX Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle drone and I am very new to this hobby and I saw it came with a charger but I saw some videos and I was wondering if I had to also buy a spereate charger? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DKJF84L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it should come with one, but you are much better off buying a nice one spearately
@devout zinc Do you have any you would recommend?
is it this one?
yea
what kind of battery i can usr on this emax tinyhawk tobhave more fly time?
Also does anyone know when to stop flying the drone like at what amount of battery left
~3.2V
You can't, realistically. The drone will start to fly much worse as you add more weight (aka larger battery) and will draw more current, leading to increased flight time of like, 30s tops imo
Also how long does it take on average to charge a 1S battery?
Pretty late respond but I bought the drone separate from the kit and it still came with a charger the charger has 6 ports for 6 battery’s
As far as I know depends on how much u used them the past flight lets say you used them to 5v it takes longer but for me about half a hour to one and a half
I pay attention to when it says low battery and when it says eat u should land in my opinion but I’m pretty new to the hobby to do don’t take it from me
If you're using a crappy charger that came from Emax, who knows. If you're using a decent lipo charger, you should be charging at 1C, about 1 hour of charger time, maybe a bit more.
I think I understand how you got to 5V, but there are a couple things you should know. First, lipo batteries aren't typically measured by total pack voltage, but by cell voltage. That can be even more confusing in the case of the tinyhawk, which uses two 1S cells in series. Second, you should never fly a lipo to the point where its cells are less than 3.2V. For the tinyhawk, that means landing when the "total voltage" is 6.4V, and absolutely not a moment later.
