#The Throttle on my DJI AVATA isn't working properly
53 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
does it actually do that?
or are you just guessing based on the behaviour when restricted?
look the video my father is barely holding it
so just a guess then?
quads "want" to be moving. Any kind of restriction will cause unexpected behaviours
The drone wants to take off and get to a minimum altitude. It's my understanding that that is its default behavior. You holding it down is causing it to try to work harder to get where it wants to be
sure i'll just use it outside without being able to decelerate and it will fall down and crash once its out of range
its manual mode
...
why would you go passive aggressive on an answer that two separate people have told you
try it without obstructions indoors
don't touch it
In the sims when its at 0 throttle it should not be flying im not gonna risk it going against the roof and crash when i can clearly see its going too fast
What sim
lift off
You flying a race drone in that?
Its an FPV drone the command are the same pitch yaw and stuff
Yea, mate, DJI stuff behaves differently
dude it's a sim vs two much more experienced people telling you the same exact thing
Liftoff is simulating a racing drone that is literally manual mode. You're comparing a Tesla to a Formula One car
plus an actual FPV drone will also freak out if you hold it while it's armed
then i guess i wont fly it because im not taking, it goes way to fast from what i can see the acceleration seems to fast, thanks for the answers 👍
👌 Just trying to help you mate, can't help if you aren't listening
You can safely try flying outside. If you feel things are going out of control just slam the 'pause' button on the controller's left shoulder.
That will stop the drone and automatically switch it to N mode in which it will keep hovering.
you're literally pumping the throttle, it responds 1 to 1 to your inputs
DJI I term windup.
Oh didn't knew that thanks will do
Well i tried it, guess what happen it went way too fast with little throttle, lost controlled and crashed.
I'm big enough to admit when I was wrong. Are there any errors indicated by the status LED when you power up?
Did you push the panic button?
This is not a documented issue. Do you have a video of it?
First of sorry for the passive agressif i have anger issiues 😅 but no the status led doesn't show anything
I will try some more maybe i missed something
If not i'll make a video
Actually Maybe i lost control because of the rates now that i think about it i didn't even pay attention if they were tuned right
Avata stock rates shouldn't make the throttle go wild. RR flew it, looked about normal.
is little throttle the same as what you did it that first video with someone holding the quad ?
Iliterly said i crash obviously it wasn't being held
I'm talking about the throttle input ...
Bro i cant explain it better i did almost no throttle and it went super fast cant be more precise
Do you have the flight footage? the avata has internal storage
i crashed as soon as i took off i have no footage, i have absolutely nothing and no idea what is wrong, i just gave up for now
Yes, since a lot of the description of events is subjective, please record a video of the following flight.
Even better if you can get a stick overlay/stick cam in there but I don't think that's something done on DJI.
We can at least hear your throttle inputs with audio.
i'll try tomorrow
why doesn't gyro flow work for me? it says that the movement data hasn't been found in the file, despite having put all the required settings on my avatar, put the fov wide, and eis off, can anyone help me?
@plush barn What version of GyroFlow do you use?
