Alright so it turns out that you are just so fast that paypal hasn't made that information available to us yet through the API.
They do this weird thjng where you can see it in the app but the payment doesn't show up in automated systems for 3 hours... Yes, I know, I have also tried throwing them out 5 windows in succession but with no noticable improvement
