Regarding the issue with the "Rooted" perks not preventing zekes from pinning you down, there is no specific mention of this in the patch notes or known issues. It might be worth checking if the perk is functioning as intended in other scenarios.

If the gameplay feels lacking or if enemies seem to have too much HP, it could be related to the balance changes or new content introduced in recent updates. The January 29, 2026 patch notes mention the addition of new special Zekes called Spiked Walkers, which have tougher defenses and require specific strategies to defeat. This might contribute to the perception of increased difficulty or dissatisfaction during gameplay.

Its always better for it to be "too diffcult" than to easy because what do you do when game is too difficult? You train to be better, to overcome the obstacle. But what if game is too easy? You just quit out of boredom as there is no point continuing if you can win with your eyes closed
I'm not saying it's difficult. lol it's not difficult, but it's lacking excitement, maybe I get used to the fast paced environment compared to the other DLC. This one is just ... Dull
That could be, did extreme make any difference to you?
Why are you so focused on the game's difficulty rather than my suggestion? It doesn't matter what difficulty it is in. It is a lack of excitement.
Oh its that you didnt suggest anything. If I have found that something lacks excitement its due to it being too easy and easiest fix for that is to make it more extreme
