Prestige problem

I have just bought a prestige on gunslinger and my my class level lowered to 1 .
Would i need to do that anytime I buy a new prestige level?

Would i need to but prestige when i reach another perk?

Yes, each time you buy a prestige, your level go back to 0.
Up to the left, you have the prestige number and the level your are currently at.
And of course you have to buy every perks all over again

But there are a lot of bonuses to getting the perks, for vanguard preseiege 6 gives you 5% more ammo, plus pretiege ranks are needed to get specific op upgrades, like for the auto shotgun upgrade that knocks back zombies when you reload, that needs exterminator pretiege 2

So it’s good to have these ranks, they’ll come in handy for getting op upgrades

This is why I recommend that once you level up one class to 30, take some time to understand its perks and think of what perks you'd go, so that you only buy one perk from each column to save as much money as possible the next time

I don’t have problems of the grey perk I already know which one to choose but i want to know does it always happen when you buy another prestige?.

yes, it will always get back to level 1 once you orestige

and you'll need to buy the perks again
