#Is the Battle rifle still Tier 3 worthy?

I've see a reddit post before talking about how much the Battle Rifle(HAMR-17) was nerfed so badly, and even the insufficient ammo. And as much as I've once liked the Battle rifle while using the Fixer class to overcome the ammo issues, i'd have to agree with it after using any other class it becomes completely underwhelming.

And i presume that WWZ would still have new updates or new dlcs in the future, but would i have to wait for another year or so just for a new update and hopingly in that update they fix it, or will they ever fix this gun at all?

the battle rifle is like a low tier 2 and only because it has 2 penetration. the full auto was what used to make it one of the best weapons, but it's damage, mag size, accuracy/handling, and reserve ammo were all nerfed to hell. you can get back some of its old stats via the extended mag and power perks, but this isnt enough to compensate for its bad accuracy/handling. plus even if it becomes somewhat usable, you run out of ammo quickly regardless and with its low mag/reserver perks like free refill, frontline supply, or other ammo regen cant make much of a difference

semi auto is meh. it isnt awful but there is no point using it over the sporting carbine or bullpup rifle

out of all the things saber has done, it has baffled me that they nerfed this weapon into the ground and have refused to buff it. theyll give us a class which can spam invuln or a 4 shot msrl but wont make a gun usable

if it was always shit like the special smg, then it would be whatever. but it got downgraded for no reason
