This will greatly speed up your progress. Some players manage to upgrade everything they need in the first month. Then this currency becomes a dummy. I don't think developers should waste their time balancing mutators with additional rewards in order to reduce the player's gaming experience.
ah right. this idea will be useful if the developers starting to make the classes with more perk/skill, more weapon's perks and skins throughout the level, etc. even now many players have maxed their level
