Im not a PS4 player but my father is, he's been having issues with the game performace with quite a couple freezes, and the worst is that after the freezes the weapons audio is gone..
I KNOW that its an older platform and all that blah blah blah, but we simply do not have conditions to afford a PS5 etc etc.. Do you gentlemen know if there is a way to at least decrease this issue..?

Its frame drops, they are already fixing the issue.

we sorta fixed it by deleting our save, seems like when you just start the savegame the game runs perfectly, but after a while it just starts again

Interesting fix. But doing the whole grind from the start will be a pain. To be honest i noticed when i started playing it ran all good then started freezing. You are right 👍

exactly, like it feels like as the game develops it just gets worse
its so annoying, it came to a point that the gameplay was unbearable

Me too, I’m a ps4 user and I have the same problem.I hope it will be fix very soon

Recent patch seems to make it even worse. It was freezing every 10 seconds in offline mode

Thanks for your reply. I have not reinstalled the game but cleared the cache files and it did not help
As OP mentioned above. It seems deleting the save files and starting fresh seems to fix it before it starts to happen again
