Fix the gel drop rate; it's really bad, it doesn't make sense for the gel to be like this, especially with these new recipes.

Hey, this isn't really feedback. Could you give us some more examples where gelt drops should be higher?

Imo ed4 should be higher or the recipes for the new MCs/fragments bit cheaper

True, 3.4m for recipe if u craft 1 MC, thats too much, u need to gridn whole Day to take gelt for recipe only.. Then if u need 500k per try upgrade, that will be pain for everyone, when u need 500 tryes per item

On the same topic: Prices for the recipes of normal fomp and MC are in no relation to the actual market value of the crafted item at the moment, would it be possible to adapt those?

Ellooo. Your local Hardcore Grinder here to share some of my insight so far after 25h+ of continous grind in ED4.

I kinda didnt feel the gelt drop reduction, but in a way, I did. Weird I know, keep reading.
So currently I have (almost) 3 Umbral Soul Crystals. Each time the recipes cost me 3.4m gelt to build one.
I started ED4 with 113m gelt, and I currently have 113m gelt.
I did NOT sell anything in my shop. I did buy the new expensive potions (azure and twilight).
I did NOT sell any of the dropped equipment, I only converted it to Crystals.

So my Net Wealth stayed exactly the same, but I got almost 3 UC.
Now to the conclusion, is that healthy?
Hmm I don't really mind it to be honest, since im grinding anyway the gelt I drop balances it out.
But it could be a bit better with just a tiny bit surplus for those who actually grind. For others who just buy buy and buy, its gonna be costly.

-> In a sense, you achieved what you wanted, Gelt is being taken out of the game.
-> It still could be a tad bit better, with like a 5%-10% gelt drop increase in ED4 to make those who actually grind and farm Mobs, go out with a slight Net Positive in my Opinion.

Yea I agree with @velvet ice here, gelt isn't all bad, and you can always sell xtalls made from items or some pieces for profit even in NPC.

I do feel like drop rates of items in general are not very high though, making it kind of less rewarding in a way to kill things in general

Weird seeing level 105+ complaining about money. You would've thought that y'all are already richer than god, the way you hog bosses and control the market. Everything is way too expensive. If Florensia wants to remain somewhat attractive for newer players, that has to change. No new player can afford anything on the market. Even fkn Lani weapons cost 300k, the cheapest dresses are at least 10kk, and that will only get worse when y'all get 10kk per hour in ED4. I say whatever complains you have about "not enough money dropping" are to be dismissed.

Not everyone that is 100+ has multiple 100kk lol. So your argument is just as invalid.
And you can get Lani Cariads for as Cheap as 50k. I do agree with the Dresses and Hats being too expensive tho.

Ofc not "everyone" but if you walk around the city or new ED4, the majority of players owns +10-15 weapons/armor, BiS dresses or accessoires, so i'm pretty sure the majority of high level players aint exactly poor.

In addition, it's the new recipe weapons. ED4 hasnt even been out for a week, it's supposed to take some time.

Just saying that, at the very least, Florensia really doesnt have a problem with "too little money"

You‘re not accounting returning Players who previously either had very little or gave away all their stuff either.

Btw new players usually when you open your mouth shut it there will be flood of people giving you stuff for free.
If you go to lani, brenin or robinson spawn usually even if someone is farming, they will just give you weapons for free.
There will be also people who would randomly give you some AP dress I'm one of those people, i'm just giving away stuff i can't be bothered to sell XD

Being a F2P player was a bit difficult, you needed to farm a lot to get slates and other in-game items. After this change, it became much harder. I don't see the point in making things more difficult for F2P players and also for new players. I personally don't intend to play this game again until it goes back to how it was before.

The fact that 1 Umbral Soul Crystal is currently going for ~30m Gelt kinda proves that wrong. As F2P, you can quite easily farm them too in dedicated AoE Groups. Its just a bit of grinding. All the ED4 Drops are valuable.

Every Upgradestone is like 400-500k
Every Recipe Material goes for 200-400k (excluding Boss drops which go for hundreds of millions atm)
Umbral Powder currently goes for 500k

General equipment drops can be converted to crystals and sold on the shop for for like 20-25k/u (thats 1m/stack at 20k)

So if you are not getting any money. You are seriously doing something wrong. I basically gave away all my Upstones and Crystals to my Guild so they could up their stuff and im still +180m in net wealth since I just farmed 6 Umbral Soul Crystals while aoeing and leveling with friends.

# velvet ice The fact that 1 Umbral Soul Crystal is currently going for ~30m Gelt kinda prove...

That's just because ED4 is new right now and all of the high level players are trying to get the weapons and other recipes crafted.

And you cant call a game f2p friendly if the only way to start making money is by finishing the first 95% of the game being piss poor.

If you tell someone "oh yeah you gotta get 1 char to max level first, which will take months if you're a casual player and cant spend 5hrs each day grinding, to start making any meaningful amount of money, to afford things you would've wanted when you were level 65" they'll laugh at you and drop the game
