To gain ranks, you need total power.

If you buy lots of stat upgrades for a single stat, you will be able to gain total power faster.

Why is this? Suppose that you have no multipliers at all and gain 100 power per tick. You have enough tokens to buy three multipliers.

Scenario #1 -- buy an x2 upgrade for each stat. So in any given training area, you now get x2. So 200 per tick.

Scenario #2 -- you buy 3 upgrades for a single stat. Let's say you pick endurance. You only get 100 when you train strength or psychic.. but you get 800 when you train endurance.

So instead of earning 200 per tick (scenario 1), you get 800 per tick if you just main endurance.

This effect compounds as you rank up and continue to invest in that stat. Since you can earn faster, you rank up faster.

Well by maining stats, you'll be able to progress faster into the game. If you don't main a stat, it'll be useful as you won't have a weakness/opening on a stat, however you will progress a lot slower than people who main stats.

Pros: Won't be weak in some/most of your stats. Able to be stronger than people whos sides are low.
Cons: Slowed progress, being behind on the game than others, having to have two main stats will make you take more time to grind, and make you quit the game early on due to how much you have to grind.

which is also the same for ranking up

which is better

But it depends on what rank they are. If they're lower rank, then it'll be a big impact to their grind. If they're higher rank, it'll be somewhat less of an impact, but still a good decent dent.

it's easier (and faster) to focus on one thing, so you can pile coins in one multi, and not have to keep moving around all the time.

It just makes sense at this point as further in-game the game doesn't require you to main a stats, like a quest or a quest line which asks you to train a lot of any single stat
