I've used Karam on CB and his skill doesn't work as described. At least on CB and that might be because of CB's reduced damage from poison. But what I'm sure of is that on easy CB, a 2.5% poison debuff deals 10k dmg/turn and a 5% deals 20k per turn. But whatever the number and type of poison debuffs, Karam's skill always does either 82.5k if there's at least one poison debuff present, and 0 if there's none. So in fact it consumes all the poison debuffs and depending how many there were, their value and the number of turns left, it can be a gain or a loss of damage. (I have tested this time and again, using either Kael's dafault poison or multiple Disintegrate poison, or even Karam's own poison, etc.)
I have no idea how his skill behaves outside of CB.

poison is reduced by CB's passive, otherwise a 5% poison would tick for 5 million on normal
so probably by consuming it, he bypasses that and hits a different limit, maybe the one set out for MAX HP damage moves, which are also capped, but at a higher number
since it's probably calculating the damage based on poison's "true" value, not its reduced one
so even with one poison debuff he's trying to trigger it for 10 million damage, but it gets reduced to a different cap than the poison tick would normally be

Yeah i didn't get in the details about that because we don't really know how the poison dmg is reduced by CB's passive but I had imagined something like that. Totally agree with your interpretation. I know I needed to check Karam's skill behaviour on other enemies than CB but honestly I couldn't be bothered (he's not that great in other contexts...)
Still, on CB it's indeed useful when, like me, Karam is still in your top champs against CB because it impacts your tactic when fighting: eg I avoid using Kael's disintegrate before Karam because if i get 3 5% poison that would be 120k of damage that Karam will reduce to 82.5k, so I rather lead with Kael's default, put a simple 2 turn 2.5% poison on CB which is worth 20k total an Karam converts that to 82.5k, making him actually useful in the fight...
I wonder if it's worth mentioning in a bug report... Because if your hypothesis ics correct, then in the case of CB it should use the capped values of the poison debuffs and apply them all correctly instead of this weird constant cap value.

Looking for an exoendable litter of kittens because from my recent pulls I'll need a bigger sacrifice to RNGeezuz next time: 43 blue shards opened, only 4 new rares (that I won't use) the rest dupes, mostly of ones I don't use either (a couple of Apothecaries, two Hexweavers and a Zerker, yeah that's not much). And only 3 epics in all! One dupe Canoness (is she the worst epic in the game?) and the only silver lining in that debacle are Hordin and Husk (nice getting him back after I used him in fusion...). No leg of course, despite an overall 19% chance to get one. I'm gonna go cry a little if y'all would excuse me...
So happy I spent 55 euros on that warrior pack. NOT!

the good on Mortu: his speed aura is great, I currently still use him in my arena team only for that purpose
AoE block buffs is very useful
and the heal reduction on his A1 is very useful in some situations
the bad:
his scaling is terrible, he scales off two separate stats which is never good, his A1 scaling is bad, his A2 scaling is worse, his A3 scaling is amazing
His A3 is ridiculously inconsistent. a 10% chance to trigger is useless, most fights you'll never even see it.
His base stats don't support him being an "attacker"
so basically you just end up dumping a ton of HP and using him for a speed aura/debuff stick and occasionally you get lucky and can use his A3 to delete someone

@junior crown well i don't... but everyone i read saying they did were talking abour level 50, no upgraded skills and full defense gear. Maybe some crit and still speed as primary stat on boots, but as a defense champ with defense scaling he's pretty straightforward to gear up.

I have been playing about 2 weeks, have used up every one of the blue shards I've got (Iโm guessing around a dozen) and have only 1 epic hero drop, and no legendary heroes. Is that a normal rate? Is it normal to get ~2 epics per month plus one if youโre able to complete the monthly quest? Or is my RNG just not good?

you can't really farm them, you get 5 a month from market, 4 per month from shop (for free), 1 per month from shop ($1 pack), 4 per month from quests (weekly)
then you can only really get them by farming dungeons

I dont understand why they say mortu is bad, I can solo brutal 12-3 with him, (divine offense set, no life steal), I have him 5* but with all skills maxed, and dont regret making that choice, also, war mother is pretty good, arena and spider, I have 2 war mother and I plan on maxing them both and see how they do on arena, been kicked hard with some war mother on arena, might not be the best legendary but she is not bad either.

been trying to get my vrask's helmet from 15 to 16 for a few days now

the gear system is pretty grindworthy. grind 12-6 50 times and you might get some speed boots with spd. or dragon 100 times to get the same. then take it to lvl 8 and half the time sell it and start over. if not take it to 12 then 16. grats if you got good substats. start over again if the wrong ones got upgraded.
