the new Storm ruler ash hates working like other AOW, like its super easy to find in the params you just have to scroll to the bottom of the swordartsparam the there it is id 1200 its just that when i change other weapons AOW to Storm ruler it just doesnt work, I even tried to do the relic method and replace a change AOW of starting weapon but it still doesnt work, anyone got any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

  1. One reason the VFX doesn't show up is because the FXRs (files responsible for visual effects/sounds/animations/etc for ER games) aren't bundled within the "sfxbnd_commoneffects-ffxbnd-dcx"- and instead bundled elsewhere.
#

Each "visual effect" is bundled with atleast 2 keys files: a FXR (responsible for controlling the visuals/sounds/etc) and a FXRlist (telling the game were the textures/etc are):

#

You'll want to find where the Storm Ruler FXRs are, rip them out and shove them into the "sfxbnd_commoneffects" package via WitchyBND

#

Ofc you'll want to make sure those entries you're throwing in are valid. When you extract commenteffects via WitchyBND, you'll get this file:

oh forgot to mention i did all of this in smithbox

rapid temple
#

to fix the VFX, this is something you'll need to do outside of smithbox.

#

i know. things outside of smithbox is scary shit

#

but its very powerful to learn how to modify/add new FXRs for smithbox projects

#

you can recolor effects and do cool stuff

@granite scaffold mayk helped with this

#

i believe its probably this value:

#

75410000

#

apparently the nightlord IDs with 01/100/etc at the end are probably the Everdark variants

#

its also telling that their HP values are significantly increased as well
