Did you use mod engine 3 or mod engine 2 artifact?
And did you use the latest version
I made 3 patches i think
There are a few things that might caused the issue:
- Not using the newest patch
- Having a cs_smain.bnk inside your mod folder that you didnt select
- selecting the cs_smain.bnk thats inside your game folder
- Choosing a mono audio .wav
For me everything worked and i replaced 100 musics

Im gonna try with this release i think i have the one before this one.
Also for durations of track do i have to make edit ? No problems with tracks that are longer than the vanilla one ?
Not cs_main you need cs_smain
I mean no cuts or silences ? When i was using the manual method. My replaced track for the limgrave ambiance was cutting in the middle with a silence, then looped
OK ! Didnt see the subtile difference... maybe this is the issue ? I dont have this file
In my sd folder
cs_main is for sounds like swords cs_smain is for music
OK !
Duration and looping happens automatically no need to edit yourself

It starts at the beginning of your wav and ends at the end
If i have an sd folder anyway does this mean i have the necessary me2 fork ? I play with the reforged setup and mod my game with it. So i dont know what me2 version is used but i think its ok since i managed to replace music before so

If you replaced music before then it should work
You can restore your cs_main in the backup folder next to the .py file
