I’m kind of clueless when it comes to any of this. YouTube videos send me down a hole that I can’t navigate. Really would appreciate if anybody would be willing to maybe DM me and help me learn the basics, I’m just tryna be Sasuke in Elden ring

Follow the install instructions for the mod, and use ModEngine2.

If you get stuck somewhere, use the general troubleshooting document on the Souls Modding Wiki

They are mod dumb and no longer work

Do what the install instructions say but skip the patch part

You should unpack your game, then use mod engine 2 for the rest

Thanks , I’ve gotten relatively far into the process but when it comes to where I should be putting certain mods is where I get stuck. I have to reinstall the game later and I will try this out

you put them in the mod folder of mod engine 2

It's fine. There's not really a good guide for installation that I'm aware of, I should write one. But I think it's just the Mod Engine 2 instructions

Also the person who wrote the instructions for the sasuke mod I see obviously doesn't know what they were doing and unfortunately doing what they say now will break the mod

Fair enough. I’ve been trying to use that one and the Gojo and Sukuna move set mod

Looks like haing RTX on also breaks the mod

And some people are reporting that DLC breaks the mod but I can't ascertain from the author's comments where they are able to get it to work or not

unfortunately that doesn't really matter if you updated your game. It will still break mods
